One of the great Buffalo Bills of all time Bruce Smith joined 1045 The Team at Radio Row this week. The Pro Football Hall of Famer was asked about Rex Ryan and the Buffalo Bills

“We’ve got a lot of work to do. Great deal of work for Rex, and his mindset as being a great defensive coach. I think there are a few more pieces of the puzzle to add to the team. We need to be more consistent, play smarter and not getting so many penalties. There are some mental errors as well. Some of those things take place when you bring in a new system and the guys aren’t used to it yet, or haven’t learned it to the extent they need to know. This offseason will be a maturation process for some of these players.”
