Famed Upstate NY Buffalo Wing Showcase Named a Top ‘Food Trail’ in America
You may have participated in a bar crawl during your life, but have you ever experienced a food trail?
It's a pretty simple concept: you and your hungriest friends travel within a town or city, and sample a certain type of food at a number of different restaurants. Buffalo, NY has a well-known food trail, so well-known in fact, that it's been recognized among the best of its kind in the country.
Buffalo's Buffalo Wing Trail was included in a list created by the hospitality resource Time Out, which ranked the best food trails in the country. Buffalo Wing Trail was ranked as the seventh-best in the country out of 11 total candidates.
Buffalo Wing Trail takes participants throughout the city, sampling buffalo wings at 13 different restaurants, including Elmo's Bar & Restaurant, Duff's Famous Wings, Glen Park Tavern and more.

Arizona's World Famous Salsa Trail was ranked as the best food trail in the country. Other entries included the Boise Potato Trail (2nd), the North Carolina Oyster Trail (5th) and the New Jersey Pizza Trail (11th).
Time Out specifically shouts out the "double-dipped" wings that are popular at Elmo's, as well as the Sicilian wings (parmesan cheese, garlic, basil and oregano) that are popular at Glen Park, as two of the highlights of the Buffalo Wing Trail.
