
Cardinals Tie Up NLCS
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the Milwaukee Brewers 12-3 to tie the NLCS at 1-1 on Monday night.
Albert Pujols continued to provide the power with 5 RBI in the game. He went 4-5 with 3 runs scored and the 5 RBI. David Freese and Nick Punto each had 2 RBI in the game.
Shawn Marcum was not sharp at all for the Brewers as he went 4 innings pitched giving up 7 hits, 5 runs, walking 1 and striking out 1. Edwin Jackson didn't pitch that much better than Marcum as he survived for 4 1/3 innings giving up 7 hits as well, 2 runs, walking 1 and striking out 3.
