The Rivers Casino and Resort has done what I feared would never happen, they've open a legit Las Vegas style Sports Book and Lounge right here in the Capital Region. If you listened to the show we did live from Rivers on opening day you heard a lot about how it happened and what to expect but if you missed it here's the information straight for General Manager Justin Moore and Sports Book Manager "Harbor Side" Hal Wafer.

The Rivers Casino and Resort in Schenectady have opened their Sports book and lounge and I for one am THRILLED! I have always enjoyed adding a little extra interest in my sporting events. I love the Saratoga Race Course and Fantasy sports because I can wager and add a little more fun. Now that sports betting is legal here in New York I made the bets I normally had to hope my friends would make for me when they visited Las Vegas.
