The first Grade I stakes race of the 2019 Saratoga racing season has become something of a specialty for Chad Brown. The Mechanicville-born trainer has now won the last four Diana Stakes after Saturday's victory with Sistercharlie. It's the fifth win in the Diana overall for Brown who registered his first career Grade I win in this race in 2011.

Brown had four horses in the six horse field and he filled the toteboard going 1-2-3 with Sistercharlie, Rushing Fall and Homerique. For Sistercharlie, it's her fourth straight win and an impressive victory considering the long layoff ahead of Saturday's Diana. Sistercharlie was sidelined since last year's Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Sprint, but there was little, if any, rust to shake off at the Spa.

Chad Brown set the record for wins by a trainer last summer at Saratoga Race Course with 46 of them and he's off to a strong start in a bid to defend his training title.
