The Capital Region concert schedule for 2022 just got bigger! This latest announcement features a band whose biggest album to date was released 39 years ago, this week. If you were in high school in the early 80's, and even if you weren't, you owned this album.
Over the years this band has b=featured some of the biggest names in 80's Metal. Randy Rhoads, Tracii Guns, Bobby Rondinelli, Carlos Cavazo, Rudy Sarzo and Kevin DuBrow. Have you figured it out?

The current Quiet Riot line-up features bassist Rudy Sarzo, guitarist Alex Grossi, vocalist Jizzy Pearl, and is now joined by Type O Negative drummer Johnny Kelly.
Quiet Riot have had their share of triumph and tragedy. On March 11, 1983 they released the multi-platinum selling album "Metal Health" with the enormously successful cover of "Cum On Feel the Noise". Their next album "Condition Critical" also sold over 1 million albums.
Several key Quiet Riot band members have passed away including Randy Rhoads (1982), Kevin DuBrow (2007) and Frankie Banalli (2020). Bassist Rudy Sarzo has been in and out of the band over the years and spent time playing with Ozzu Osbourne, Whitesnake and others. In August of 2021 Sarzo announced his return to Quiet Riot.
