Colonie Little League Suffers First Regional Loss

After winning game one at the Mid-Atlantic Regional, Colonie Little League fell in Game 2 by a score of 6-4 to Toms River, N.J.

Toms River scored four in the first and two in the second before Colonie rallied to score four in the top of the fifth.

Because it's pool play, Colonie is not faced with a must-win in its third game (Today, 5:00 p.m.), but being 2-1 is much better than 1-2 in these situations.

Colonie needs to finish in the top two of its pool to advance to the elimination round. You can follow today's action here.
