David Feherty’s Classic Description of Putt [VIDEO]

I have to tell you Mr. Feherty, if that’s what they’re calling a gimmie now-a-days, I’m not so sure that I want it. And may I ask, for the sake of my read, are you referencing a curved one or a straight one?

Dave Feherty, one of the most entertaining color commentators in all of sports, took his talents to a whole new level over the weekend when describing the length of Chris DiMarco’s putt. After missing a long birdie attempt DiMarco was left with putt of about 6 inches or so, a length that the accomplished wordsmith Feherty could only describe one way. I don’t want to ruin the clip for you, but I think it’s safe to say that it certainly isn’t a phrase you can expect Dottie Pepper to adopt anytime soon.
