Don Mattingly’s Son Signs Minor League Deal With Yankees

Looks like we will soon have another Mattingly in pin stripes.  Donny Baseballs son Preston has signed a minor league deal with the New York Yankees.

According to ESPN Don Mattingly's 24 year old son Preston has been singed to a minor league deal with the Yankees.   Preston was drafted by the Dodgers in 2006 and has been in the minor leagues ever since.

He has bounced around from LA to Cleveland, but the Indians released him in 2010.  He now gets his next shot with the Yankees, and we'll have to see if he can live up to the Mattingly name.
