NBA players and owners met for nearly four hours on Friday to try to extend the Collective Bargaining Agreement.  All-Stars such as Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, and Kevin Durant joined the players' association executive committee for the meeting.

A source close to the situation told ESPN's Chris Broussard that Dwayne Wade and David Stern had a heated conversation during the meeting.  Stern reportedly pointed at Wade while making a point.  Wade took offense to the gesture by Stern.  "You're not pointing your finger at me," Wade said.  "I'm not your child."

Wade felt like commissioner David Stern was belittling him.  The two sides separated shortly after the exchange to cool off.  Players' Association Executive Director Billy Hunter was able to convince the players to rejoin the meeting with the owners.  Both sides will continue to work through various issues in an effort to get a deal done before regular-season games have to be canceled.
