Ernie Johnson’s Emotional Tribute

What a move last night by NBA on TNT broadcaster Ernie Johnson. Johnson won the award for "Best Studio Host" at the Sports Emmy's on Tuesday -- and presented the award to Stuart Scott's daughters.

Johnson, who has battled cancer himself, told Scott's daughters that they would text each other about the fight against the deadly disease.

Stuart Scott died of cancer in January.

"As for this (the emmy), there is only one place this belongs, and that's on the mantle at Stuart Scott's house."

It was a powerful scene that has received a lot of attention on social media this morning. Even his peers were impressed and moved by Johnson's act.

Kudos to you, Ernie Johnson. Thank you for being selfless and for helping honor one of the icons of your profession. We look forward to continuing to see you anchor TNTs NBA coverage.

The Bulls visit the Cavaliers tonight while the Clippers also visit the Rockets. Both games are on TNT.
