While we have had a keen eye on the Houston Astros this postseason because of all the former Tri-City ValleyCats on the roster (Dallas Keuchel, Jose Altuve, Jason Castro, George Springer), we need not forget this former 'ValleyCat.

Hernandez was at the top of the order last night for the Dodgers in Game 4 against the Mets.

Hernandez was traded from the Astros system at the trade deadline in 2014 along with Jared Cosart and Austin Wates to the Miami Marlins for two minor leaguers, a compensation draft pick and OF Jake Marisnick.

He was then shipped from the Marlins to the Dodgers this offseason as part of the big Dee Gordon/Dan Haren to Miami trade.

Hernandez played 60 games for the 2010 'Cats, hitting .280. He had three home runs and 33 RBIs that season.

Once more, it just goes to prove: You never know who you are going to see when see a 'Cats game at Joe Bruno Stadium.
