A great two weeks for the Tri-City ValleyCats, as the 'Cats released their 2015 schedule, but a trio of former 'Cats also took home MLB honors.

Jose Altuve, who already took home the American League batting title, hitting .341, added the Silver Slugger Award at second base to his list of accomplishments for the 2014 campaign. Altuve beat out Robinson Cano of the Mariners, who had won the last four awards. Altuve also stole 56 bases to lead the AL.

He was a 2009 member of the 'Cats, hitting .250 in 21 games.

Dallas Keuchel ('09) went 2-3 for Tri-City in 10 games started. He had a 2.70 ERA in Troy, and this week he took home the American League Gold Glove Award for his work on the mound. He led the AL in chances and assists on the mound, and had a .985 fielding percentage.

And who could forget Hunter Pence? The 2004 ValleyCat won the World Series as a member of the San Francisco Giants. Pence hit .444 in the series.
