Former WWE Star Already Leaving AEW
This week marks the one year anniversary of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) making their debut on television. The brand-new wrestling company was founded by Tony Khan along with executive vice presidents and professional wrestlers Cody Rhodes, Nick Jackson, Matt Jackson, and Kenny Omega. One year since their debut, AEW has solidified its company as a strong alternative in the professional wrestling landscape to WWE. Over the past twelve months, AEW has signed popular former WWE wrestlers to their brand including
Jake Hager (formerly Jack Swagger)
Shawn Spears (formerly Tye Dillinger)
Jon Moxley (formerly Dean Ambrose)
Mr. Brodie Lee (formerly Luke Harper)
Miro (formerly Rusev)
One of the former WWE talents that had signed with AEW is already leaving the company. Matt Cardona (known as Zack Ryder) is leaving the company according to reports. Cardona made his debut back in July for the company in the below video
Earlier this week, Cardona addressed his situation in this video below
Cardona is a former Intercontinental, United States, and tag team champion during his tenure as a member of the WWE. Plus Cardona has New York roots as he is a Long Island New York native.
