Garrett Whitley’s Draft Prospects Tonight

Tonight is a huge night for the Capital Region, as Niskayuna senior Garrett Whitley figures to be selected in the first round of the MLB Draft. Whitley, the speedy OF, will be one of three players in attendance at the draft.

Whitley took off in the draft conversation last summer after his performance in elite summer showcases such as the Area Code Games. He's got a combination of speed and power that make him a desirable first-round selection, not to mention elite bat speed and a great feel for the game as Mayo told us.
