For the second time in as many weeks, the New York Giants blew a fourth quarter lead.

This time, the G-Men lost to the Atlanta Falcons, 24-20, at MetLife Stadium.

With 1:14 left, Devonta Freeman scored from 2-yards out to give the Falcons that lead. New York held a 20-10 lead at one point.

The Giants got solid production from Eli Manning, who went 27-40 for 292 yards and two touchdowns. Odell Beckham Jr. had seven catches for 146 yards and a touchdown as well.

Andre Williams led the rushing attack, gaining just 43 yards.

For Atlanta, Matt Ryan was 30-46 for 363 yards. His favorite target was Julio Jones, who had 13 catches for 135 yards.

Now 0-2, the Giants will have a short week, playing the Redskins on Thursday night. That's a huge game against a beatable opponent. It also holds more weight because it is an NFC East showdown.

Even though they are 0-2, the Giants will have a chance to gain ground on the 2-0 Cowboys, who are now without Tony Romo and Dez Bryant.
