As Eli Manning enters the final year of his contract, the Giants are looking at their quarterback counting nearly $20 million against the cap. A decision needs to be made about whether or not New York will extend his contract for future security and immediate cap relief.

"I don't think there's any doubt they're going to extend him," said Giants offensive lineman Geoff Schwartz, on 104.5 The Team with Armen and Levack, Tuesday afternoon. "He had a great season in this first year in a new offense for him.

"This is a totally new offense for him. He played in one offense for 10 years and it's hard to change habits that you've had and he did a good job adjusting.

"I've played for many quarterbacks, none that are as good as quarterbacks. Obviously Eli doesn't bring the run component into it but if you give him time, he will make every single throw that he could possibly make."
Manning is coming off one of the better seasons he's had after throwing 30 touchdowns in 2014, his second highest tally since he entered the league in 2004.
