Yet another New York Giant drafted by former General Manager Jerry Reese is leaving Big Blue. Star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been traded to the Cleveland Browns. According to Sports Illustrated's Mike Garafolo the Giants will receive the Browns 1st(17th overall) and 3rd(95th overall) round draft picks in this year's draft as well as Safety Jabril Peppers.

This comes just weeks after Giants' General Manager Dave Gettleman said "We didn't sign him to trade him" speaking of Odell Beckham Jr at the NFL Combine. This was the second time Gettleman has made this statement. Just last year the Giants signed OBJ to a 5 year $90 million contract extension.

This means that Safety Landon Collins was allowed to leave for Free Agency where he signed a mammoth 6 year $85 million dollar deal. Defensive end Olivier Vernon was also traded to the Cleveland Browns for Guard Kevin Zeitler. The Giants will be very different when they take the field in 2019. The full-blown rebuild is officially on.
