Goz’s College Football Rankings (Week 13)
For the third consecutive season,I will be providing my own personal Top 25 poll each week during the college football season. My poll philosophy all season long will remain the same and that is by ranking the teams I believe are the best twenty-five best in the country following that given week’s games. Below are my rankings and comments about each week’ biggest shake-up and changes. Do you agree or disagree? Let me know below or on Twitter @TomGozz
- LSU
- Ohio State
- Clemson
- Georgia
- Alabama
- Penn State
- Oregon
- Utah
- Oklahoma
- Minnesota
- Florida
- Michigan
- Notre Dame
- Auburn
- Baylor
- Iowa
- Cincinnati
- Wisconsin
- Memphis
- Boise State
- SMU
- Oklahoma State
- Appalachian State
- Virginia Tech
- Indiana
What to do with Alabama- The Crimson Tide have lost one of the best players in the country for the remainder of the season in Tua Tagovailoa. However Coach Nick Saban and his team still have an impressive amount of talent on the country. The result of the Pac 12 may be the true factor in whether or not Alabama can get back into the top four rankings.
Penn State too high?- We will find out this weekend. I have Penn State at six because their lone loss on the season (Minnesota) is better than Oregon and Utah's. If Penn State beats Ohio State, the debate will begin the Big Ten as to who is the most likely college football playoff contender. If Ohio State loses this weekend they would NOT even play for a shot at the Big Ten title. We will find out if Penn State deserves that spot this weekend.
