If you like hockey and you are serving in the military or are a veteran, the Albany Devils have an event just for you this coming Saturday night.

The Devils will host military appreciation night this Saturday when they take on the Binghamton Senators at 5:00 P.M. All those that have served or are serving will get free admission to the game. Events start at 3:00 P.M. on Pearl Street.

The Devils have sponsored this event for a number of years now. All past and present military members who present their proper ID at the box office will get in for free.

Said Devils CEO Chris Ciceri about the event " Military appreciation night has become one of our signature events that the organization and our fans look forward to every year. We've had the privilege to meet many service members throughout the years and their commitment to our nation extremely inspiring. An event like Saturdays is the least we can do to show our gratitude." Hear Hear Mr. Ciceri!

In addition the 1st 1,000 fans to go through the turnstiles will receive free American Flags courtesy of Gettysburg flag works.

All branches of the U.S. Military will be honored. After the game concludes 3 vehicles that have been refurbished will be given to military Vets and their families.

For a list of events, times, and places they occur and all the sponsors that are involved you can access the Devils website at TheAlbanyDevils.com.

My personal appreciation and thanks to all those that have served or are serving in the United States Military
