Greenwich Preps For Class C State Title Game (AUDIO)

It's been a great year for Section II football teams at the state level, as Saratoga (Class AA), Schuyerville (Class B), and Greenwich (Class C) all have a chance to play for state titles this weekend.

Today, I was joined by Greenwich head coach Brandon Linnett to talk about the Witches run in Class C.

We spoke about the team as a whole - and its leaders, Lukas Whitehouse and Mike Brandow.

Furthermore, we talked about what this ride has meant to the Greenwich community and how the fans have rallied around this group.

Greenwich is unbeaten on the season and really hasn't been tested. They've shut out four different opponents and have scored more than 40 points in every game this season except two.

Greenwich takes on Chenango Forks on Friday night at 6 p.m. at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

We asked Linnett how having the game the same week as Thanksgiving affects things -- he's having practice on Thanksgiving.
