Holy Bull!  I know a lot of people from Upstate NY who say they would love to see a majestic moose in the wild, and I'm one of them.

Watch below as a massive bull moose makes its way through Upstate NY, while two buddies marvel at the rarity of the moment.

A few years ago, I paid handsomely for a wildlife sighting tour through Yellowstone National Park.  We saw the top of a moose head from about 2 1/2 miles away - it was a bit of a letdown, to say the least.

But I'd be lying to you if I didn't admit to keeping an eye out for a magical moose sighting like the one you'll see in the video below, especially when traveling up 87 into the ADK Region of New York State.

Watch as a GINORMOUS Moose Bull traverses his way through Upstate New York on his way toward Lake Placid!

Joe Beach's video went viral about a week ago when the Malone, NY native posted it to his Facebook page with the caption that read:

"I was headed to lake placid this morning with buddy Craig Rowe riding shot gun and came across this boss ! Did some calling to keep him from going back in the woods think it worked maybe !" Joe Beach Facebook

According to the NYS DEC, there are believed to be approximately 600-800 moose in New York State, and while it's hard to say just how big this boy is, I think it's safe to assume it's got to weigh at least 1,000 pounds.

It's the kind of breathtaking wildlife encounter that doesn't happen every day, but it's out there if you keep your eyes open - especially when you're in Upstate NY.
