Brad Burns scored three touchdowns and Tanner Williams contributed two as Hoosick Falls whipped Saranac Lake (Section VII), 47-13, in a New York State Class C quarterfinal game at Stillwater.

As usual, the duo were the offensive stars as Burns picked up 150 yards on the ground and Williams added 140. Hoosick Falls, top-ranked Class C school in the state, moved its record to 11-0 this season.

"I am very proud of our young men. They played well both offensively and defensively. On defense, we caused turnovers that we were able to capitalize on when we were on offense. Once again, our offensive line paved the way for our ball carriers to have great games. We are very excited to be headed to Kingston next week for the NYS Class C semifinal game (Saturday at 11 a.m.)," said Hoosick Falls head coach Ron Jones.

The Class D affair saw Cambridge win over Ticonderoga (Section VII), 44-25, at AuSable Valley.

Skyler Saunders had a huge game for Cambridge with four touchdowns and 200 yards rushing on 35 carries while Aaron Mulready reached the end zone once and added 111 yards on 12 carries. Will Bromirski caught seven passes for 83 yards.

Cambridge (11-0) will meet Chester (10-0) in the semifinals at Dietz Stadium on Friday at 4 p.m.
