Is Blake Snell A Top 5 Pitcher In American League?

Earlier this week, Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Blake Snell made some conterversial comments about his stance on whether or not he would play this season. Snell, on a Twitch video said the following

Y'all gotta understand, man, for me to go -- for me to take a pay cut is not happening, because the risk is through the roof,". "It's a shorter season, less pay.

"No, I gotta get my money. I'm not playing unless I get mine, OK? And that's just the way it is for me. Like, I'm sorry you guys think differently, but the risk is way the hell higher and the amount of money I'm making is way lower. Why would I think about doing that?"

As the 104.5 The Team facebook page showed many Capital Region sports fans were upset with Snell's take. In fact, maybe Snell is not worth the five year fifty million dollar deal he signed with Tampa Bay. Below Levack and Goz discuss where Snell ranks in terms of best pitchers in the American League.
