This past weekend, the New York Yankees took three of four in their series with the Houston Astros. The Yankees now only trail the Minnesota Twins for the best record in the American League. Is Yankees slugger Gary Sanchez the American League MVP? Yes is my answer. Sanchez is tied for the American League lead in home runs, second in OPS, second in slugging, seventh in RBIs, thirty third in batting average.
