Here are the contenders. Dunkin', Panera Bread or McDonald's. One of these brands has more locations in New York than any other State. I can tell you that there are 2,109 combined New York locations between these three.

Florida and California seem to lead the way in total number of fast food locations for all brands. According to World Population Review, Chick-fil-A is the top rated fast food place in New York. McDonald's ranks as best breakfast and Starbucks, McDonald's and Domino's are the most searched by New Yorkers. But which brand has the most locations?

#3 - PANERA BREAD - Scrape Hero reports that there are 2,160 Panera locations in the United States with Florida leading the way with 194 cafes. New York ranks 6th with 115.

#2 - McDONALD'S - There are 13,514 McDonald's locations in the United States. California, Texas and Florida have the most with New York coming in 6th with 580 restaurants.
