BBQ Joint Rollin’ Into Former Halfmoon Sandwich Shoppe This Month
One of the best barbeque joints in the Capital Region is getting a bigger space this month. Rollin' Smoke Handcrafted BBQ will finally be moving into the old Halfmoon Sandwich Shoppe.
Rollin' Smoke Handcrafted BBQ started as a food truck business in 2019 and then opened a small location in a strip mall on Guideboard Road in March of 2020.
Owners Are Excited About the Opportunity
Owners Rob and Amy Carmel say they like to keep everything family-oriented. They love to support local and buy local too according to the Daily Gazette. They intend on serving local craft beer at the new location from local breweries.
The new Location is Huge
The new location will be three times larger than the current one. It is about thirty-one hundred square feet. There will be fifteen to eighteen tables in the restaurant area. They will also have a bar inside.
They are also going to utilize the backyard space for parties and events. Plus there is a ton of parking for easy in and out access.
What Will The Menu Be Like?
The menu will remain the same with a few new items added. They will add a Nashville hot chicken sandwich, roast prime rib, bacon-wrapped filet mignon, and new stuffed bacon-wrapped pork tenderloin.
When Will Rollin' Smoke Be Open?
The new location on Route 9 will be open Tuesday through Saturday from 11 am until 7 pm. The doors will open later this month.
