If deciding where to get dinner turns into a family debate at your house, this new spot coming to the Capital Region might make everybody happy.

Wonder is opening its first Capital Region location in the former Applebee’s space at 268 Saratoga Road in Glenville. According to a Wonder media representative, the opening is planned for early 2027.

So, what exactly is Wonder? Think of a food hall where you can order from 20 to 30 different restaurant brands without bouncing from counter to counter.

There's Something For Everyone

You want sushi. Someone else wants pizza. The kids are asking for tacos, and another person wants steak. Instead of making four stops or convincing everybody to settle, you can put it all into one order. Everything is prepared to order and comes together.

If this stops the endless "what's for dinner?" debate, I am all in!.

Expert Chefs Create The Meals

There are some familiar names behind the menus, too. Wonder features food from celebrity chefs including Bobby Flay, Marcus Samuelsson, José Andrés, and Michael Symon, plus other popular brands.

Some preparation happens at central kitchens, with meals finished at each location. Customers can dine in, pick up their food, or order delivery through the Wonder app.

Where Are Other Wonder Restaurants?

Wonder already has more than 100 locations across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, but its New York restaurants have been downstate.

Now, the Capital Region gets a turn. I’m wondering how many different menus I can try in one visit. Picking dinner could finally be the fun part.
