When it comes to great pizza, the Capital Region has plenty of places to brag about. But one local pizza shop just gave us two more reasons to celebrate.

Congratulations to the crew at Romo's Pizza in Glenmont, where two family members brought home major honors from the 2026 Great American Pizza Challenge in Columbus, Ohio, and one of our local winners is just 16 years old!

For Anthony, who has spent years perfecting his craft, it's another impressive achievement and some serious bragging rights for Glenmont.

The Next Generation of Pizza Greatness

But Anthony wasn't the only family member celebrating.

According to Romo's, Anthony's 16-year-old nephew, Camden, won Young Pizza Maker of the Year.

I'll admit, I'm a little biased when it comes to Romo's.

Brody's mom lives in Bethlehem, and whenever my little man and I get the chance, we LOVE stopping at Romo's for pizza. It's been one of our favorite local spots for years, so seeing them get this kind of national recognition is pretty awesome.

And as a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, I've always appreciated the name Romo's. Anthony and his crew are Cowboys fans, too, which gives me another reason to root for them.

A Family Affair Worth Celebrating

Romo's shared the exciting news on social media, proudly celebrating both Anthony and Camden's accomplishments.

Two winners. One family. And a pretty impressive showing for a local pizza business competing on the national stage.

Congratulations to Anthony, Camden, and the entire family.
