There's few names in Auto Design that are quite as revered as Mercedes-Benz. The German automakers stand at the top of the mountain, offering a luxury, performance vehicle for fractions of what Ferrari and Maserati are.

Now, their legacy will be on display for the Capital Region in 2026...

Celebrating a Milestone

As of 2026, Mercedes-Benz is celebrating their 140th Anniversary. As a celebration of this historic milestone, the Saratoga Automobile Museum, located in Saratoga Spa State Park, will host a limited-time exhibit showing off everything you could ever want to know about the company.

The exhibit will take center stage at the museum, running from May 4th to October 25th. Tickets to the museum are a standard $20, with discounts for students, the elderly, children under 18, those in the military, first responders, and teachers.

What Will Be at the Exhibit?

This exhibit is, first and foremost, a learning opportunity. During your time exploring, you'll learn the history of the company, from their groundbreaking 1886 Motorwagen to their leaps and bounds in the electric car race with their Mercedes-AMG ONE.

LOOK! Before Sold-Abandoned Orange County Chopper HQs in Newburgh-TLC's 'American Chopper'

In 2003, a father-son business reality show hit the Discovery Channel. It was called American Chopper, and it followed the custom motorcycle-building business of the Teutul family out of Newburgh, NY. Paul Sr. owned the shop, with sons Paul Jr. and Mikey working in the business. There was a slew of cast and characters. The center of the show wasn't just the amazing custom motorcycles built for celebrities and others; it was the volatile relationship between Sr. and Jr. The show ran for 12 seasons before the two could no longer get along. It ended up in lawsuits, and the two not talking for ten-plus years. In the past few years, the business moved to Florida. This left the 61,000-square-foot headquarters for sale and abandoned. Take a look at what remained of Orange County Choppers.
