Saratoga Auto Museum To Open New Exhibit Honoring Mercedes-Benz
There's few names in Auto Design that are quite as revered as Mercedes-Benz. The German automakers stand at the top of the mountain, offering a luxury, performance vehicle for fractions of what Ferrari and Maserati are.
Now, their legacy will be on display for the Capital Region in 2026...

Celebrating a Milestone
As of 2026, Mercedes-Benz is celebrating their 140th Anniversary. As a celebration of this historic milestone, the Saratoga Automobile Museum, located in Saratoga Spa State Park, will host a limited-time exhibit showing off everything you could ever want to know about the company.
The exhibit will take center stage at the museum, running from May 4th to October 25th. Tickets to the museum are a standard $20, with discounts for students, the elderly, children under 18, those in the military, first responders, and teachers.
What Will Be at the Exhibit?
This exhibit is, first and foremost, a learning opportunity. During your time exploring, you'll learn the history of the company, from their groundbreaking 1886 Motorwagen to their leaps and bounds in the electric car race with their Mercedes-AMG ONE.
The Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss
Several of their legendary models will also be available for you to check out. The 1938 540K, 1955 300SL Gullwing, 190E Evolution II, and G63 6x6 are all standouts, but their crown jewel is the incredibly rare Mercedes-Benz SLR Stirling Moss (only 75 were ever made). Lyn Hiner has also contributed a breathtaking featured art exhibit that shows the history of the automakers in her signature style.
If you don't already have plans to visit this one-of-a-kind exhibit, do yourself a favor and start making plans.
