It's hard to believe that the first day of Autumn, September 22, is only about a month and a half away.

So as we start getting ready for back to school, the impending change of the seasons, and a weather shift, this is the sweet spot for fall weather outlooks.

The Old Farmer's Almanac has called for a cool and dry autumn, and now another legendary weather prognosticator is chiming in.

The Farmers' Almanac Reveals Fall Forecast

The Farmers' Almanac has now released its weather outlook for autumn, and it looks like a consensus is starting to build among forecasters, at least for the first part of the season.

The Almanac says we can expect a cool, dry start to the season, but the back end of fall could turn to a cold and stormy finish. Farmers' Almanac Forecasters are saying we can expect some snow to arrive in late October, especially in higher elevations, and in November, we could see some regular snowflakes!

Late October and November snow could be a stretch, but cooler conditons could definiely in crease the odds of some late fall snowfall in Upstate New York.
