The Jets have so many needs going into Thursday's NFL draft, but the secondary has to be addressed first. The Jets were pathetic defending the pass last season and it would make total sense if Gang Green selected a cornerback and safety with the 6th pick in the first round. LSU's Jamal Adams is ranked as the number 1 safety. If he's not gone, the Jets should take him. With all their glaring needs it will be hard to mess it up

If New York appears a little gun shy about taking corner, you don't have to look too far to understand why. In the 2013 NFL draft, the Jets used the 9th overall pick on cornerback Dee Milliner from Alabama. Through inconsistent play and injuries, Milliner never panned out and is no longer on the Jets roster.

I have to imagine either or both Mitchell Trubisky or DeShaun Watson will still be on the board at 6 and because it's such a quarterback-starved league, I won't be shocked if that's the direction New York chooses to go.
