The Aaron Glenn era in New York is off to about as bad of a start as anyone could imagine.   They are winless in their first six games, Justin Fields has looked abysmal at quarterback, and now Garret Wilson is out multiple weeks. A season which at one point seemed incredibly promising following a hard fought defeat at the hands of the Steelers in week one, now seems like it will never end.  Luckily for the Jets they're not the only team with problems across the board. But who can they realistically beat in an actual football game?

VS Carolina 10/19

Garret Wilson won't be playing in this one as he recovers from a hyperextended knee, and Rico Dowdle is in the midst of a breakout stretch. The Panthers coming off a comeback win vs Dallas, the momentum is not on New York's side. But Bryce Young struggles immensely against pressure, so if the Jets pass rush can get home this can be a very low scoring game.

@ Cincinnati 10/26

Joe Flacco is starting at quarterback in 2025... and somehow the Bengals look better since making that change. But if there's a team New York can compete with, it's this Bengals team. The defense is still an issue, and Cincy's wideouts haven't broken out too much with the setbacks at quarterback so far. Again expect a low scoring game but one the Jets could take home.

VS Cleveland 11/19

The Browns turned to rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel as the team's new starter, which should mean the Jets can take advantage of some mistakes. They still likely won't have their star wideout in Garret Wilson, but if Fields can avoid Myles Garrett, the Jets should be able to get a couple scoring drives.

VS Miami 12/7

The Dolphins continue to find new ways to lose this season, and while at home they had the Jets number, this is a team that historically does not travel well. Metlife stadium in December should be plenty cold enough to keep this Dolphins offense from getting going. New York just has to protect the football and they should be fine in this one.

@ New Orleans 12/21

The Saints have plenty of holes across this team in Kellen Moore's first year as head coach. While Spencer Rattler hasn't played terribly, I'd expect New York's defense to be able to get plenty of stops and set their offense up for success.
