Knicks Should Pay Max For Durant Despite Injury

If I am running the Knicks organization, Kevin Durant is still getting a max contract even if he can’t play next season, because of his leg injury. The Knicks can suffer through one more losing season if they know for sure Durant will wear a New York Knicks uniform in the future. Many athletes have come back from a torn Achilles Tendon, and still performed at the highest level. Durant, one of the best players in the NBA, would be worth the wait.
