Local College Hoops Team Makes Championship Tournament

The Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Basketball team is in their first season and have punched their ticket to the USCAA National Championship Tournament. Head Coach Pat Filien joined us to recap the season and preview the teams trip to the tournament.

Just a year ago this team didn't even exist. Coach Filien had to build this program from the ground up. He had to find a place to play, set a schedule and oh yeah get players. So the fact that they are currently the 8th seed with a chance to win a title in year one. The Bobcats will head to Uniontown, Pennsylvania March 6th thru 9th at Penn State Fayette where they will hopefully play three games in three days and win a championship in year one. No matter the outcome of the USCAA Tournament you have to love the start for the Bryant & Stratton Bobcats Basketball team.
