Madison Bumgarner Strategically Puts Yankees On No-Trade List

When I woke up and saw that San Francisco Giants' Lefty had added the New York Yankees to his list on "No Trade" teams I was unhappy but now I see light at the end of the tunnel. MLB Network's Ken Rosenthal points out that this might actually be a nothing more than a strategic way to get the most he can from any team on his list.

So basically this has almost no effect on whether or not Bumgarner will become a Yankee. If the Yankees are willing to meet the demands of the Giants and Bumgarner the big Lefty could end up in the Bronx after all. With the Giants currently 8.5 games out of first place and sitting last in the NL West Bumgarner could be available sooner than later.
