After the Seahawks decided to dump the veteran on Tuesday to make way for Tarvaris Jackson the12 year NFL veteran needed a new home. He found that home in the Volunteer State.

It was leaked on Wednesday that the Titians are trying to sign Matt Hasselbeck to be the teams new quarterback. The seasoned vet will be a 1 to 2 season stopgap while Jake Locker gets ready to lead the team into the future. All this QB drama in Tennessee branches off the release of former star quarterback Vince Young back in January, and the retirement of Kerry Collins earlier this month.

This is the right step forward for a transitioning Tennessee team. Getting a guy like Hasselbeck on the cheap to build your rookies skill level is a great move. Matt is also a quarterback that will make your effective at moving the ball. Him just being there makes the team more than the pushover the Titians were last season. Now I look forward to seeing how this move improves the Titians offense this season.
