The biggest target of the Jets offseason was snagged today, now who’s next for Gang Green?

Today it was announced that the New York Jets have reached agreement with wide receiver Santonio Holmes. It's a 5 year, 50 million dollar deal that has 24 million guaranteed. This is the highest  guaranteed for any wide receiver ever in the history of football.

This means that Jets probably will not have enough money to resign Braylon Edwards who appears to be more of a luxury at this point then a necessity.

With Edwards going by the wayside, the Jets will need a cheaper alternative to put behind Holmes, so expect the Randy Moss talk to explode in the next few days. That combined with Mark Sanchez talking about restructuring his deal to allow for higher priced free agents like cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.
