The Buffalo Bills will have the next several weeks off, until the start of training camp at St. John Fisher University in late July. The first practice will be held on July 26th.

The Bills players might be off but the coaching staff and front office don't really have an off period during the year. They will be working through the end of the year.

There's been a lot of talk surrounding the Bills and potential drama lately.

It has to do with wide receiver Stefon Diggs and whether or not there's a rift between him and quarterback Josh Allen and/or head coach Sean McDermott. This after Diggs did not show up for any OTA's this spring and left team facilities before mandatory minicamp's first practice last week.

Diggs participated in practice the final two days of minicamp and things should be fine for now, until training camp.

McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane have done far more good things for the organization than mistakes. They have turned around the franchise on and off the field since the arrived in 2017. Because of that, the Bills have rewarded them with new contract extensions.

The Bills have announced both McDermott and Beane have had their contracts extended through the 2027 season.

The Bills have made the playoffs the last four seasons and five of the past six. They have won three straight AFC East titles and are in the top five for most NFL wins over the last five seasons.

These extensions were well-earned and expected.
