Mike Greenberg: ‘Levack is Outside of the Cone of Trust’ [AUDIO]

"Armen and Levack" went into "Mike and Mike"s post-production meeting to do an interview with, what they thought was going to be, both shows together. Only to find out, Mike Greenberg made sure that it was a studio with only three microphones, making sure Levack was thrown aside. 

"We were just doing it as a ratings ploy," said Greeny. "The bottom line of it is this, once you guys figure out a way to dump Levack, there’s no stopping you."

Mike Golic, being the fabulous sidekick that he is, remembered immediately the incident that still resonates through the ESPN halls.

"Didn’t he shake Greeny’s hand one time? Spread some germs?" asked Golic. "Well, I think that’s the reason he’s not on a mic right now."

"That’s how he got outside of the cone of trust."

And to boot, Greeny's salutation?

"Good to see you - Get Levack out of here."
