The sports world has been mostly on hold since mid-March and many athletes are ready to get back to work. Count former NFL and current MMA athlete Matt Mitrione joined Levack and Goz to talk about the new Bellator show his fight is featured on and his desire to get back to work.

Mitrione erupted on to the MMA scene when he appeared on the 10th season of the UFC's Ultimate Fighter. Since then he has joined the ranks of Bellator MMA, where he's had some classic fights. The latest against Roy "Big Country" Nelson is featured tonight on "Bellator: Recharged."

Mitrione is never one to keep his opinions to himself has been very vocal that he's ready to get back in the cage despite the COVID-19 outbreak. He clarified that if he as an athlete knows and accepts the risks he should be given a chance to work. I have to say I don't disagree with Mitrione on that. MMA is a dangerous sport and as long as ALL risks are made abundantly clear to the fighters I support their right to get back to work.
