After leading the Albany Dutchmen to an increase in wins in each of the last three years, head coach Nick Davey will be returning for the 2013 season.

Last year, Davey led the Dutchmen to a 22-24 overall record with which they finished just three games out of the final playoff spot in the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.

In a press release, Dutchmen owner Paul Samulski said of Davey:

We haven’t gotten to the place where we want to be, but we’re moving in the right direction, and Nick is a big part of that.

The Dutchmen begin play in 2013 on June 5 at Bellizzi Stadium in Albany against the Amsterdam Mohawks.
