The decision from Nike to make former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick the face of the "Just Do It" campaign on the 30 th anniversary of "Just Do It" has been very controversial. We now have the video to see why exactly Kaepernick was chosen to be the focus for Nike.

I've been clear that I am not okay with the kneeling during the National anthem and for that reason I had been very critical of Kaepernick. I said many things like "how does this help?" and "I think he should do something different to make his point." I was not exactly thrilled when i saw that Nike chose the former NFL star but I have to say I do actually like the commercial. The campaign is about dreaming big. The message is positive. To stand by my own comments I have to support the positive message here and if it steers clear of National Anthem I think I get it.
