The NCAA College Football Playoff Committee released its new rankings on Tuesday night, and there are some different programs in the top four as teams vie for a chance to play in the first four-team playoff.

Mississippi State retains its top spot while Oregon has supplanted Florida State in the No. 2 spot. FSU falls to three and TCU assumes the four spot ahead of Alabama. Auburn previously held the three spot but fell to Texas A&M on Saturday.

Mississippi State and Alabama play each other this week in a game with huge implications.
