The 2024 NCAA Women's Tournament has done been better than the men's tournament this year whether people want to admit it or not.  The ratings have proven that and the quality of games and teams has been awesome too.  There is no bigger star one the women's side than Caitlin Clark.  It could not have gone better for the city of Albany as it got the national attention that it deserves.  Now it is onto the Final Four in Cleveland for Iowa UConn NC State and South Carolina.  Iowa will face UConn on Friday night and the Huskies have always been a desired destination for her.  However they never gave her a shot and didn't even recruit her.  Below is my quick take on this as seen in The Times Union:
If Monday drew 12.3 million viewers to watch Caitlin Clark and Iowa against LSU what is Friday night's Final 4 game against UCONN in Cleveland going to produce? Friday is also a matchup of Clark against Paige Bueckers two of the best players in the game. It will be hard to top the atmosphere that we had at MVP Arena, but the Rocket Mortgage Field House will be rocking.

I am rooting so hard for Caitlin Clark and Iowa to win it all in 2024.  If she wins a national championship then her legacy will be fully complete as she is the all time NCAA division one scoring leader men's or women's which is truly remarkable.  It is awesome to see the overall growth and popularity of women's basketball on the national scale.
