Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert confirmed the team met with Plaxico Burress on Saturday morning.  Colbert said there haven't been any contract negotiations with the 2000 first-round pick, but that the Steelers are definitely interested.

New York Giants general manager Jerry Reese said the team met with Burress for 90 minutes on Friday evening.  Giants coach Tom Coughlin, owner John Mara and several of Burress' former teammates were present for the meeting.

"I would say it was positive conversations all the way around," Jerry Reese said.  "I thought we had a good visit.  We will see what comes out of this.  Again, we don't bring people in for the fun of it.  We bring people in to investigate if it's a possibility for the New York Giants.  We think it's probably a possibility and we will see where it goes."
