It was a scary week for Randall Cobb and his family.

Cobb, a 33-year old wide receiver for the New York Jets of the National Football League, posted on his Instagram earlier this week about a devastating house fire that had impacted his family.

Cobb and his family live in Nashville, TN during the offseason, as Cobb is a native of Tennessee. Per a story posted by ESPN, Cobb's wife, Aiyda, shared via Instagram that a Tesla charger in their house caught fire in the garage late [that[ night and quickly spread through their home.

Cobb and his wife were successfully able to remove their three young sons from the house, but their dog was still inside.

As Cobb shared in the statement above, the Nashville Police Department was able to rescue their dog, Louie, and bring him out to safety. The family was safe, thankfully, but their house had been devastated.

We are thankful to hear that the Cobb family is safe, and is in good hands with friends in the Nashville area. Credit to the Nashville Fire Department, as well, as their efforts saved the Cobb family's dog, and likely saved neighbors in the area from having any issues.
