After leading the UAlbany women's basketball team to the NCAA Tournament for four straight years, Shereesha Richards faces a new challenge today as she hopes to hear her name called in the WNBA Draft which is tonight at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut.

Richards should hear her name drafted at some point during the three round event. She averaged 18.8 points per game and shot nearly 60 percent from the floor in her tenure with the Great Danes.

She's super athletic, jumps well and has a tenacity on the glass that I haven't ever seen in the women's game. What does she need to develop at the next level? She needs to develop her ballhandling and her outside shot. Former UAlbany coach Katie Abrahamson-Henderson started to give her freedom to shoot from the outside this season, and she needs to continue to work on that aspect of her game.

Round one tonight is on ESPN2 while Rounds 2-3 are on ESPN U.
