New Giants GM Dave Gettleman looks at the big picture, and that doesn’t include Jason Pierre Paul. JPP’s production has gone downhill ever since he seriously injured his hand in the infamous fireworks accident in 2015, and he’s making too much money. Add that up and Gettleman sends JPP to Tampa for a third-round pick. The move might alter their draft day plans. Instead of taking running back Saquon Barkley with the #2 overall pick, the Giants might have to consider taking stud defensive end Bradley Chubb out of North Carolina State. Assuming they don’t draft a quarterback.
