It's a big month for Ryan Miller.  Not only will be he have his jersey retired later this month, but now, he's also got a beer that has been named after him.

The people at Resurgence Brewing Co. have put together a couple of beers to honor the former Buffalo Sabres goaltender.  They've just released the Millz Pilz and 391 IPA.  Obviously two different beers, one is a pilsner and one is an IPA.

It looks as though the cans feature two different designs incorporating both of the uniforms that he wore while he was playing with the Sabres.  One of the cans is a black and red design with the #30 emblazoned on the side.  Next to the #30 is a picture of a face with his likeness while wearing his goalie mask.  The other can is just about the same design only that one is blue, white, and gold.

They come in a four-pack and according to their post on Twitter, are available now.

They're coming out just in time as the Sabres are getting ready to honor Miller this month.  He will not only be inducted into the Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame, but will also have his number retired by the organization.

The ceremony will take place on January 19th at Key Bank Center prior to the game against the New York Islanders.

Miller retired from hockey at the end of the 2021 season as the winningest American Goalie in the NHL.
